Arizona Immigration Horror Stories Fact or Fiction
In the last week there has been an uproar both supporting and
condemning Arizona for its implementation of tough new standards at the
state level to deal with the illegal immigration issue. Let me shed
some light on how so many Arizona citizens and legislators can support
forcing immigrants follow the rules and laws of our country. According
to Rasmussen Reports surveys, 70% of potential voters in Arizona favour
the legislation and only 23% oppose it. While major national Hispanic
groups say it will lead to racial profiling, and 53% of voters in the
state are concerned.
Some interesting statistics: Phoenix is now the kidnapping
capitol of the world. Ranchers like Robert Krentz are being openly
attacked, robbed, and murdered in broad daylight, with seemingly
impunity.
"One Rancher testified that 300 to 1200 people a day come
across his ranch vandalizing his property, stealing his vehicles and
property, cutting down his fences, and leaving trash. In the last two
years he has found 17 dead bodies and two Koran bibles.
Another
rancher testified that, daily, drugs are brought across his ranch in a
military operation. A point man with a machine gun goes in front, 1/2
mile behind are the guards fully armed, 1/2 mile behind them are the
drugs, behind the drugs 1/2 mile are more guards...
...One man
told of two illegal’s who came upon his property, one shot in the back
and the other in the arm, by the drug runners who had forced them to
carry the drugs and then shot them...They listen to gun fire during the
night. It is not safe to leave his family alone on the ranch and they
can’t leave the ranch for fear of nothing being left when they come
back.
The border patrol is not on the border. They have set up 60
miles away with check points that do nothing to stop the invasion. They
are not allowed to use force in stopping anyone who is entering. They
run around chasing them. If they get their hands on them then they can
take them back across the border."
All the Arizona legislation did was give law enforcement the proper
tools to enforce EXISTING FEDERAL LAWS. Sure, it is asking people to
endure the trauma of identifying themselves (only if reasonable
suspicion / probable cause that a crime has been / being committed). In
my home state of Oklahoma, the simple act of driving your vehicle on
the states highways implies that you are willing to submit to having
the police stop you, ask you for your drivers license, and your
insurance. It would be great if Oklahoma also passed similar
legislation.
I do not mean harm to the illegal immigrants, I just want them to
follow the laws and rules of our land, and enter the country legally,
like the countless thousands have before them. If they can't do that,
then go home.
The cost of illegal immigration to you and me.
A new report is out that shows the costs imposed on Texas taxpayers by illegal aliens. The report was released by the Federation for American Immigration Reform
(FAIR). The current estimates show there are 1.5 million illegal aliens
in Texas. The costs when broken down comes to a total of $725 a year
per taxpaying household to cover the costs of education, health care
and incarceration of illegal aliens throughout the state.
The more than 4.7 billion in costs incurred by Texas taxpayers annually result from outlays in the following areas:
Education. Based on estimates of the illegal immigrant
population in Texas and documented costs of K-12 schooling, Texans
spend more than $4 billion annually on education for illegal immigrant
children and for their U.S.-born siblings. About 11.9 percent of the
K-12 public school students in Texas are children of illegal aliens.
Health Care. Taxpayer-funded medical outlays for health care
provided to the state’s illegal alien population amount to about $520
million a year.
Incarceration. The uncompensated cost of incarcerating illegal
aliens in Texas’s state and county prisons amounts to about $150
million a year (not including local jail detention costs or related law
enforcement and judicial expenditures or the monetary costs of the
crimes that led to their incarceration).
The fiscal costs of illegal immigration do not end with these
three major cost areas. The total costs of illegal immigration to the
state’s taxpayers would be considerably higher if other cost areas such
as special English instruction, welfare programs used by the U.S.-born
children of illegal aliens, or welfare benefits for American workers
displaced by illegal alien workers were also calculated.
I am sure we are all aware of the hidden costs of illegal immigration.
How many tax paying citizens have died ( remember the golden hour,
especially for heart attack and stroke) in the emergency room of a
hospital that is flooded with illegals seeking minor treatments. The
the hospital has to absorb the cost of treating those illegals knowing
they will never get paid for their services, and yes, some of that cost
is passed down to those able to pay. Eventually though, the hospital
may go out of business, as the business model the law forces upon them
is not sustainable. We are all aware of the crime, drugs and
corruption that are exported from Mexico with the illegal immigrant.
The solution, close our borders and enforce our laws.

This is a very old clip below, but Mr. Thompson speaks very well to the issues that we face today.
Lets compare the U.S.A. with some of the dictatorial regimes!
If you cross the North Korean border illegally you will get 12 years of hard labour.
If you cross the Iranian border illegally you will be detained indefinitely and/or declared a spy.
If you cross the Afghan border illegally you are shot.
If you cross the Saudi Arabian border illegally you will be jailed.
If you cross the Chinese border illegally you may never be heard from again.
If you cross the Venezuelan border illegally you will be branded a spy and your fate will be sealed.
If you cross the Cuban border illegally you will be thrown into a political prison to rot and be forgotten.
However, if you cross the U.S.border illegally you can get:
a job
a drivers license
a social security card
welfare at the taxpayers expense
subsidized rent, or even a loan to buy a house
free education, often in your native tongue
free health care, again, at the taxpayers expense
a lobbyist in Washington D.C
billions of dollars worth of public documents printed in your native language
the right to carry your own country's flag while you protest
that you do not get enough respect in the country that you are in
illegally.
Do you think that something is WRONG in this picture?
Did you know, Your congressmen knew about this? This is an act of war and no one has done anything!
If your not outraged by this, and the inaction of the current administration,
you SHOULD be.
Now in San Diego -- are you concerned yet? You SHOULD be.
What is amazing, is no one seems to be doing ANYTHING about it.
And the incumbents think they know where we the people stand?
I got an idea! How about we just ENFORCE the laws we already have, like Arizona has.
